A new chapter for innovation and higher education has begun in Tirana with the inauguration of the International Campus of Compiègne in Tirana (ICCT), a joint initiative between the Polytechnic University of Tirana and the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC). The collaboration introduces dual Albanian–French degrees and brings European academic standards to Albania.

The establishment of ICCT represents a significant step toward preparing the next generation of engineers, researchers, and innovators by providing students with access to internationally recognized education, cross-border collaboration, and the skills needed for the digital economy.
